Die Feedback-Feedle wurde für Menschen konstruiert, die sich für unmusikalisch oder talentlos halten. Doch auch zur Talentlosigkeit gehört ein gewisses Maß an Talent, das unbedingt gefördert werden sollte. Die Töne, die beim anfänglichen Üben auf der Geige als Fehler betrachtet werden, werden beim Spielen der Feedle perfektioniert.

Zwei Lautsprecher im Corpus der Feedle und zwei eingebaute Mikrophone im Bogen erzeugen ein Feedback. Frequenzen und Filter werden über den Winkel des Bogens in der horizontalen und vertikalen mit Hilfe eines Mikrocontrollers zusätzlich gesteuert.

The feedback Feedle is purpose-built for people who believe themselves to be tone deaf or talentless. However lack of talent actually implies a given amount of talent and should thus be encouraged. While the sounds produced by the student during initial violin practice are considered errors and off-key, these are exactly the sounds that are perfected by practicing the Feedle.

The feedbacks are created by the interplay of two speakers in the corpus of the Feedle and two built-in microphones in the fiddlestick. Additionally frequencies and filters are controlled by means of a microcontroller interpreting the bows horizontal and vertical movement.
